Telchemy Showcases VoIP/IPTV Analysis Technology at NCTA's The Cable Show
Installed base of VQmon quadruples to over 10 million units in less than twelve months
DULUTH, GA. - May 3, 2007 - Telchemy,® Incorporated, the global leader in Voice over IP and IPTV fault and performance management technology, today announced it will be showcasing its market leading range of IPTV and VoIP performance monitoring technology at the NCTA Cable Show in Las Vegas. Telchemy recently announced that the installed base of the VQmon VoIP/ IPTV analysis software had increased from two million units in December 2005 to over ten million units in the first quarter of 2007. Over eighty equipment vendors have integrated Telchemy's technology into a broad range of IP phones, residential gateways, E-MTA's, routers, probes, analyzers and performance management systems.
VQmon embedded performance monitoring agent technology provides real time analysis of live Voice or Video over IP calls, is scaleable, compact and efficient, permitting integration into a wide range of systems, from client devices such as IP phones, IP set top boxes or mobile handsets to high capacity probes, routers or session/border controllers. VQmon/EP is used by leading E-MTA vendors to meet the VoIP performance reporting requirements of PacketCable 1.5, and to support RTCP XR, SIP RTCP Summary Reports and other performance reporting protocols. VQmon/SA-VM is used in many IPTV probes and analyzers, and is ideal for integration into IP Set Top Boxes for performance measurement.
Telchemy's product range also includes active and passive performance monitoring applications. SQmediator is a server based product that collects call quality reports from endpoints. SQprobe is a high performance Gigabit probe that can be located at key points such as head-end locations. DVQattest is a distributed active test application that provides in-depth testing and problem diagnosis for VoIP and IPTV services, with powerful Layer 1-3 diagnostic capabilities.
